Everton will hope they can notch up the first points of this campaign when they welcome Wigan to Goodison Park on Sunday.

Wigan Athletic and Everton have something very disappointing in common so far for the 2009-10 EPL season. They have both been unable to get consistent play from their players and are sitting right near the bottom of the EPL table. Everton has yet to win a game even though they had big expectations this year and Wigan has fallen hard since their opening day victory. One of these teams should be able to bounce back this weekend but it will be interesting to see which one.

Meanwhile Wigan have had an indifferent start to the season. They won their first game by a 2-0 margin over Aston Villa, but slipped to a 1-0 loss to Wolves in the next game. Last week, they succumbed 5-0 to Manchester United with Wayne Rooney scoring twice and Dimitar Berbatov, Michael Owen and Nani chipping in with one goal each.

Portsmouth will be hoping the successful takeover of the club will have a positive effect on results as they prepare to face Manchester City this Sunday.

Portsmouth has been unable to get anything going and have yet to put any points on the board. They scored their first goal last week against Arsenal after being shut out by Birmingham City and Fulham, but were still dominated by a score of 1-4. Paul Hart needs to get more out of his team soon or it will be a long, dreadful season for Pompey. They need more from players like Younes Kaboul and a better offensive effort overall.

Meanwhile Manchester City have begun on the right note following their massive summer spending. They have won both their games played so far by narrow margins, but look like genuine challengers for a top four finish

Aston Villa and Fulham have both been having up and down seasons so far this year and they will be looking for a lot more consistency as they take to the pitch on Sunday August 30th. Villa started off slow with a disappointing loss to Wigan Athletic but has since proven to be a very formidable team to face. On the other hand Fulham started off well with a win over Portsmouth but then fell short in their next game against Chelsea. A win for either team would go a long way in proving that they can contend in the EPL this year.

Aston Villa will be looking to build on their fine display last Monday when they clash against Fulham at Villa Park this Sunday.

Live Premier League football this weekend pits familiar foes against each other as defending champions Manchester United welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford. This past weekend Manchester United was able to bounce back from a very lackluster performance as they put a beating on Wigan Athletic by a score of 5-0. The team got some excellent play from Wayne Rooney as he netted two important goals and also saw some life from new signing Michael Owen who hit the back of the net for the first time since joining the team. They will need the same kind of effort against Arsenal and will be hoping for a big win in order to show the world that they are a top contending team and that they can play just fine without Ronaldo.

Arsenal was able to continue their strong start to the season thanks to a big 4-1 victory over Portsmouth but they will be in for their biggest test so far against Manchester United. Arsene Wegner will need all the big guns such as Abou Diaby and William Galas to continue their strong play and come out quick against Man Utd if they want the big win.

Wolves will look to use the home advantage and claim all three points in what is probably an early six-pointer of the season when they welcome Hull City this weekend. A match between two teams with just one win so far on the season will get underway this weekend as the Wolverhampton Wolves take on Hull City live right here on OleOleFootball. Both teams need to turn things around after some closely contested losses and will be looking to come out quick and jump all over their opponents on Saturday August 29th.

Wolves had a lot of chances in that game and manager Mick McCarthy was left to rue what might have been. However his team bounced back from that loss to beat Swindon Town 6-5 on penalties in the Carling Cup during the id week. Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Chris Iwelumo, Michael Kightly and Kevin Foley continue to miss out with various injuries.

Tottenham will look to maintain what has been the best ever start to a premiership campaign in 49 years when they welcome Birmingham to White Hart Lane this weekend. The big news out of the EPL so far this year has to be the impressive play from Tottenham for every minute of football this year. They have dominated their opponents and will look to continue doing so this weekend as they take on Birmingham City in what should be an exciting live football game. Birmingham will be the underdog in the game but will be looking to prove that their slow start is not because of lack of talent or drive.

Redknapp has dealt admirably with a host of injury issues as Jonathan Woodgate, Michael Dawson, Jermaine Jenas, Gareth Bale and Heurelho Gomes are keeping the medical staff busy. He is also looking to add another couple of players and has expressed an interest in acquiring the services of Rafael Van Der Vart.

Meanwhile Birmingham were held to a 0-0 draw by Stoke City last week. The Blues had a great chance in the second half, but a heroic save from Potters goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen denied them all three points.

Stoke City and Sunderland will be continuing their 2009-10 EPL seasons as they square off against one another on Saturday August 29th. Sunderland will be hoping to continue their strong play this year while Stoke City will be looking for a little more consistency from their top players. The Potters have had a decent start to the season, winning one game and losing another. Last week they drew 0-0 against Birmingham thanks to Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen, who effected some superb saves in the latter half of the game.

Stoke City has been a picture of inconsistency so far this year and have to be disappointed in the fact that they could not finish off Birmingham City last weekend. In their 0-0 tie they did manage to get by with a point but the team has to feel they should have gotten three. They have now been shutout in two straight games and haven’t found the back of the net since their first game when Jordan and Ryan Shawcross scored.

Bolton will be hoping to take advantage of the starting trouble being experienced by Liverpool when they welcome the latter to Reebok Stadium this weekend. Liverpool has more than a lot to prove this weekend as they are desperate to bounce back and need to do so in a big, big way. They will be squaring off with Bolton on Saturday August 29th in a game that they should win, but their confidence has to be at a low. Bolton on the other hand will be looking for their first goal and their first win on the 2009-10 EPL season. It will be a tough match for both teams and another loss for either of them could be more than demoralizing.

Manager Gary Megson has not made any significant moves in the transfer market and the pressure will squarely be on him as he seeks to motivate his side. Bolton responded nicely during the mid week with a 1-0 win over Tranmere Rivers in the league cup. However Megson will continue to be without Ricardo Gardner, Joey O'Brien and Ricardo Vaz Te as they are all injured.

Blackburn will still be searching for their first points of this campaign when they take on West Ham this Saturday. Even though it is early in the season, this weekend will prove to be quite important for both Blackburn and West Ham utd. West Ham will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Tottenham on the weekend although they should take comfort in the fact that they played well. On the other hand Blackburn has not been able to win a game so far as of yet and need one soon.

Blackburn are looking to bring in Pascal Chimbonda as it appears that Stephen Warnock is headed to Aston Villa.

Chelsea will be looking to take another step towards Premier League supremacy this weekend as they take on the surprising Burnley team that has pulled off some remarkable victories already this year. Chelsea of course is undefeated and sits atop the EPL standings while Burnley remains in striking distance. Another win for Chelsea and they could prove that they are the team to beat this year.

The Blues have made an excellent start under new boss Carlo Ancelotti winning three out of three Premiership games to date. A narrow 2-1 win over Hull was followed by an emphatic 3-1 win over Sunderland before they clinched the London derby against Fulham by a 2-0 margin.

Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka were on target in that game; scoring a goal each and creating another. Manager Ancelotti would have been delighted with the way his strikers paired up and will hope they can continue to do so in the upcoming fixtures as well.

Liverpool will look to continue from where they left off against Stoke City when they welcome Martin O'Neill's Aston Villa outfit to Anfield on Monday night.

The Reds were stunned 2-1 by Tottenham Hotspur in their opening game of the new Premiership season, but bounced back to rout Stoke City 4-0 on Wednesday night. Star striker Fernando Torres gave Liverpool an early lead, which was doubled by new signing Glen Johnson just before half time. Dutch international Dirk Kuyt and young Frenchman David Ngog added late goals to make the scoreline look even more one sided.

Liverpool face Aston Villa in the Premier League game of the day. Liverpool will be buoyant after their 4-1 away victory at rivals Manchester United. Aston Villa will be desperate to get their Champions League challenge back on track, after a bad run of form. You can watch all the action from this all-important game, right here on oleolefootball the home of live football streaming.

Fulham has high expectations this season and started off with an impressive 1-0 over a strong Portsmouth team. Bobby Zamora provided all the offence that was needed for Fulham in the win after he scored in the 13th minute, and the defence looked poised and ready for the long season. If they can get the same shut down style of play going against Chelsea then they could possibly come away with another impressive victory and climb up to the top of the EPL table.

Meanwhile Chelsea have started impressively with two wins out of two games so far. A narrow 2-1 win over Hull on the opening day was followed by an authoritative 3--1 win over Sunderland. Darren Bent had given the Black Cats an early lead, but goals from Michael Ballack, Frank Lampard and Deco gave the Blues all three points.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti would have been delighted with his side's display and will hope for more of the same come Sunday. Chelsea have signed midfielder Nemanja Matic from MFK Kosice., but this game could be too early for him to play in. Yuri Zhirkov and Juliano Belletti continue to remain sidelined

Burnley claimed a major scalp in their first home match back in the top flight as they pulled off a shock 1-0 victory against champions Manchester United at Turf Moor in midweek.

While Burnley did lose their first game this season they bounced back in a big way thanks to a win over Manchester United. They stayed strong and competed well with the English giants and pulled out the victory thanks to a goal from Robbie Blake in the 18th minute. If they can get the same impressive play from Blake and goalkeeper Brian Jensen then Burnley may be able to pull off another upset this weekend.

In their only game so far this EPL season Everton was blown out of the water by Arsenal. They could not get anything started except for a goal from Saha, and couldn’t stop the barrage of goals from Arsenal. They will need to come up with a much more consistent all around effort if they want to compete against Burnley and climb out of the basement of the English Premier League. You can be sure David Moyes will have his team fired up and ready for the game this weekend.

That saw them bounce back from their opening day defeat at Stoke City while Everton also recovered. After going down 6-1 at home to Arsenal, they chalked up a 4-0 win over Sigma Olomouc in the Europa League qualifer.

The Clarets have not lost in their last five top flight meetings with the Merseysiders, the most recent in 1976.

West Ham Utd came up big in their first game of the 2009-10 EPL season with a 2-0 victory over the Wolverhampton Wanderers. The team got top notch play from Mark Noble and Matthew Upson and will need more of the same against Tottenham. Gianfranco Zola is hoping that his team can use the momentum to play a better game than they did in the Asia Trophy game. West Ham will need to prepare hard and hope that everything falls their way to overcome this test against Tottenham, but they may prove up to the task.

Spurs manager Harry Redknapp returns to his old club with his side still basking in the glow of a 2-1 win at home to Liverpool and then a thumping 5-1 victory at Hull City.

Jermain Defoe also returns to Upton Park and is full of confidence after his midweek hat-trick brought his tally to five goals in three matches for club and country.

However the Hammers are also on a high after their opening day 2-0 victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Spurs have not conceded a goal in their last three meetings with West Ham and have not lost in their last three visits to the Boleyn Ground.

Wigan vs Man Utd Live Streaming

Manchester United will be involved in a very important live English Premier League game this weekend as they take on Wigan Athletic on Saturday August 22nd. Man U has always been a favorite to compete for the league title but this year the team seems to be missing that something special that they usually have. They played uninspired football in their first game and then were upset by Burnley this past week. They will need to bounce back quick in order to compete with Wigan Athletic this weekend and prove that they are still one of the teams to beat in the EPL.

Wigan Athletic started off their 2009-10 EPL season on the right note with a convincing 2-0 win over Aston Villa. However, that did not carry over to the next game as they were outplayed and upset by a score of 0-1 against the Wolverhampton Wanderers. They will definitely need to be at their best this weekend and rely on top flight play from Hugo Rodallega and Jordi Gomez. It will be interesting to see if Roberto Martinez elects to use Jason Scotland in this game or leave him on the bench again.

Sunderland had high hopes entering their game against Chelsea but could not keep up with the squad that Carlo Ancelotti has put together. While Sunderland did strike first they could not hold off Chelsea for long and fell victim thanks to goals from Michael Ballack, Frank Lampard, and Deco. It was a struggle for Sunderland to keep up most of the game but they did show some promise. Darren Bent scored for the second time in two games to lead the team. They have a lot to learn from the game and should be able to use those lessons to help gain a victory over Blackburn on Saturday August 22nd.

Blackburn was dominated by Manchester City on Tuesday and will need to come out with a much better effort against Sunderland. Just three minutes in Emmanuel Adebayor drove home a pass from Shaun-Wright Phillips and Man City did not look back from there.

City had the second best home record in the Barclays Premier League last season behind neighbours United while Wolves had the most wins on the road in the Championship.

Wolverhampton jumped out quickly in their game against Wigan Athletic as they scored in just the 5th minute when Andy Keogh drove a header to the back of the net. Many were predicting that Wigan would manhandle the Wolves in their home game but it wasn’t meant to be for Roberto Martinez and his squad. Instead the Wolves pulled away with three points and look like they are up for competing this year.

On the other side of the pitch Manchester City lived up to their expectations and handled Blackburn with ease in their game. Even without some of their stars playing such as Carlos Tevez, City showed what they were able to do and have to be one of the favorites to compete at the top of the table this year. A big win over the Wolves would give them a jumpstart on the competition and prove that they are for real this 2009-10 English Premier League season.

Hull vs Bolton Live Streaming

Hull City has been unable to score goals or defend well so far this season and it isn’t looking good for Hull fans. After battling it out with Chelsea in a 1-2 loss, the team was then dominated by the Tottenham hotspurs by a score of 1-5. While the team did find the back of the net in both games thanks in large part to strong play from Stephen Hunt, they need to do more. They should be able to play with Bolton and compete much better than they did in the previous games and it will be interesting to see how well Phil Brown has prepared his team.

Bolton has only been a part of one live English Premier League game so far this year and there were a few positives that came from the game even though they lost. They were unable to score but their defence was tested quite a bit by Sunderland and especially Darren Bent, but they stood strong. Jussi Jaaskelainen played very well in net and the offense led by Muamba and Elmander should be improved in this game with a bit more practice.

Birmingham's first win back in the Barclays Premier League came in midweek as a last-minute penalty gave them a 1-0 success at home to Portsmouth.

The Blues now host a Stoke City side who beat Burnley 2-0 on the opening day but then lost 4-0 at Liverpool in midweek.

Stoke City got off to a good start this season with an important victory but were dominated by Liverpool in their most recent game. Stoke was unable to get anything going offensively and had a very difficult time shutting down a high powered Liverpool team as they lost by a final score of 0-4.

Liverpool scored within the first five minutes as Torres scored and then Steven Gerrard led the way for the rest of the game. Stoke City and manager Tony Pulis will need much better performances from players such as James Beattie and Ryan Shawcross if they hope to win against Birmingham

It is 21 years since the Potters last won at St Andrews where Birmingham were beaten only once during 2007/08, their last season in the top flight.

Stoke won only twice away from home after taking the Blues' place in the Barclays Premier League.

Arsenal Football Club (often simply known as Arsenal or The Arsenal, or by their nickname The Gunners) are an English professional football club based in Holloway, North London. They play in the Premier League and are one of the most successful clubs in English football, having won thirteen First Division and Premier League titles and ten FA Cups. They hold the record for the longest uninterrupted period in the English top flight and are the only Premier League side to have completed a season unbeaten.

This weekend Wolves entertain West Ham for the first time in the top flight since March 1984. Mick McCarthy’s side will be buoyed by an excellent home record of 15 wins from their 23 league games in last season’s Championship title win. Wolves lost just three matches at Molineux on their march to the title and will have a bumper crowd behind them for their first match back in the Premier League.

Sylvan Ebanks-BlakeMick brought in Reading’s Kevin Doyle in a £6.5m deal which will add firepower to the side alongside the 2008/09 Championship’s top scorer Sylvan Ebanks-Blake. Combined these two scored a total of 43 league goals last season. Former Royals goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann also joined and his experience of the Premier League may be vital to a relatively young team.

Wolves certainly won’t want to begin the Premier League season in a similar fashion to how they started their last top flight campaign as they began the 2003/04 season with a 5-1 hammering at Blackburn. West Ham made vast improvements under Gianfranco Zola last season but a similar result seems very unlikely.

The Trotters enjoyed a decent run at home towards the end of last season having lost only one of their last eight Premier League games at the Reebok Stadium.

With Sunderland having failed to score in their last three league trips to the Lancashire venue, Megson will be hopeful that run can continue.

Unbeaten in their last three pre-season friendlies, Bolton have enjoyed a good run-up to the start of the campaign.

And, having bolstered their squad significantly during the summer transfer window, they'll be confident of getting their season off to the best possible start.

Steve Bruce will be hoping new striker Darren Bent will be the answer to the Black Cats woeful goalscoring record last term.

Sunderland scored just 13 goals on their travels last season, with only Portsmouth and relegated Middlesbrough and West Brom scoring fewer.

Failing to score in six of their last seven Premier League away games, goals have been a serious issue for the visitors.

Yet to win an away game in 2009, they'll be hoping for a huge turn around on the road as they bid to better last season's 16th-place finish

That game ended in a 1-1 draw, with Alecko Eskandarian scoring for DC and Antonio Cassano scoring for Real Madrid.

Manchester United appear to be very worried this season in this live commentary and online radio TV telecast English FA Community Shield 2009 soccer match between Chelsea and Manchester United at Wembley Stadium that they might no longer be able to win the league and other titles.

The FA Community Shield is one of FA's major fund raising events, benefiting various charity organisations across the country. Receipts from ticket and match day program sales are used by the FA to distribute to good causes, many of which are nominated by the participating clubs

Manchester United have uncharacteristically spoken more about their other competitors before this live online streaming English FA Community Shield 2009 soccer match on TV and online like Chelsea instead of their own progress.
