Fulham has high expectations this season and started off with an impressive 1-0 over a strong Portsmouth team. Bobby Zamora provided all the offence that was needed for Fulham in the win after he scored in the 13th minute, and the defence looked poised and ready for the long season. If they can get the same shut down style of play going against Chelsea then they could possibly come away with another impressive victory and climb up to the top of the EPL table.
Meanwhile Chelsea have started impressively with two wins out of two games so far. A narrow 2-1 win over Hull on the opening day was followed by an authoritative 3--1 win over Sunderland. Darren Bent had given the Black Cats an early lead, but goals from Michael Ballack, Frank Lampard and Deco gave the Blues all three points.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti would have been delighted with his side's display and will hope for more of the same come Sunday. Chelsea have signed midfielder Nemanja Matic from MFK Kosice., but this game could be too early for him to play in. Yuri Zhirkov and Juliano Belletti continue to remain sidelined
