The first time Sunderland and Chelsea met up it was earlier in the season and Sunderland sadly was anhiliated by Chelsea. Nicolas Anelka certainly deserved the MVP first grabbing an easy shot past the keeper, and then again when Frank Lampard set up a cross that Anelka targeted to the goal. Alex had another goal, and Lampard got his own goal on Joe Cole's cross. Nicolas Anelka got his third goal as Malouda set up the shot and allowed him access, absolutely slaughtering Sunderland 5-0.
